Events, seminars and expositions 3 services, 3 expert areas
 
In 2011 Roularta set up a new expert division specializing in events, seminars and exhibitions. Its task is to create strong events (with a focus on the news and the editorial content of our magazines), fairs that meet exhibitor and visitor expectations, and seminars that offer participants information in targeted areas. The division currently organizes some 80 events a year, each promoting a Roularta title (B2B, B2C, freepress, ...) or the internal media sales activity.

a) Events

Because each event is unique, our event managers keep abreast of the editorial content of our magazines, in line with the expectations of our preferred partners.  They also take note of increasing demand from our participants for networking opportunities. 

Organizing B2B events like 'Manager of the Year', 'Trends Gazelles' or 'De economische Rentree' calls for a thorough knowledge of the sensitivities and expectations of each stakeholder. This is essential, on the one hand in order to create events tailored to needs that are ongoing and 'portable' to each of our provinces, while reducing risk, and on the other hand in order to maintain the original touch of our events, placing them in the 'must attend' category. 

Organizing B2C events such as the 'Food Awards' or 'Fashion Weekend' requires our event managers to be in close contact with the main players  (chefs, artists, art directors , models) to ensure the perfect execution and reputation of these events.

The challenge is to create with each event a momentary magic and a unique networking poortunity.

b) Seminars

Roularta Seminars is a professional organisation specializing in thematic seminars. 

It also organizes monthly readers’ meetings for both Trends and Trends/Tendances, addressed by top businessmen ready and willing to dialogue with enthusiastic and motivated audiences. Trends Outlook is another, annual event. Roularta Seminars is extending its network of partnerships, each time offering Roularta Media’s optimal communications facilities as additional guarantee for the success of its partners’ events.

c) Fairs

Since late 2011 and the acquisition of Newbizz, Roularta has begun organizing trade fairs.  We can now offer our customers an opportunity, via a stand or a lecture, for direct contact with their target groups  With our annual 'Ondernemen/Entreprendre' fair in Brussels and our yearly 'Ondernemen in Vlaanderen' in Ghent, we offer more than 13,000 unique visitors.  Into this category also fall the 'Franchising & Partnership' fairs focused on potential franchisees. These fairs, the only ones in this sector, are a further asset in the Roularta 360° multimedia approach. 

In 2013 Roularta will also be organizing for the first time the 'PromGifts' fair in collaboration with the BAPP federation.
